100 Sites!
Today, four new sites went up, bringing the total to 100:
- The Soviet Victory Memorial in Vienna, Austria (shown here) is the latest contribution by Douglas Gleeson, bringing the total number of countries on the site to 11.
- New contributor Katharina Uhl from the University of Tuebingen has a picture of a Soviet memorial to a submarine commander in Kaliningrad
- and a picture of "Mother Russia" from the same city.
- Finally, I put up the Wallberg memorial, a memorial to the bombing of the city of Pforzheim, a hill actually built out of the rubble of the city.
